Kindred provides a morning just for moms where they can enjoy a delicious breakfast, an inspiring speaker, the fellowship of small groups, and the fun of an occasional, simple craft—all while their children are lovingly and competently cared for in our childcare program.
Our Meetings
At every meeting, we share a delicious homemade brunch and listen to challenging and thoughtful speakers who teach about how to thrive in our marriages, faith, friendships, home management, and parenting. We leave plenty of time to laugh and talk with one another. We also have a devoted group of mentor moms who join us each week to offer advice, hugs, baby-holding, and sometimes a shoulder to cry on.
During each meeting, our children are cared for by a wonderful team of staff and volunteers in the Cherrydale nursery rooms. They give mothers a two-hour break to be refreshed and recharged.
Most of all, Kindred is a community where the good news of Jesus Christ is shared with mothers who may feel tired or discouraged. We serve a Lord who understands weakness and offers us strength! Our relationship with Him is what makes us closer to each other.
Payment
Be our guest for your first visit! A $10 meeting fee is charged at the time of registration for each mom to help cover expenses, but this meeting fee is waived for first-time visitors.
Registration
- Register yourself: Online registration is necessary before each meeting for everyone, even if you don’t bring children. Registration is open through Thursday at midnight prior to each meeting.
- Register your child(ren): After you register yourself, a confirmation page (with a link to register your child) will immediately be displayed and emailed to you. A separate registration must be submitted for each child. Childcare registration is free, but register early so that your child gets a spot. Infants 6 months and older need to be registered for the nursery.
