MinistriesFamily and ChildrenSpecial EventsParent DedicationAs a church family we celebrate the commitment of families to Jesus Christ upon the arrival of a new child. It is a public commitment offered by the child's parents that they will raise their child in a Christ-honoring home. If you are interested in participating in our next dedication please contact the church office.
Church-wide PicnicThere’s nothing that inspires memories of good times and warm fellowship like a good old-fashioned picnic. In this rushed individualistic culture, the chance to relax and enjoy our membership in the family of God is a taste of heaven! Our picnic usually takes place in late summer/early fall. Details will be posted at that time.
Fall Fun FestivalThe purpose of the Fall Fun Festival (October 31) is to provide a fun family event and a Gospel-oriented alternative to Halloween. Everyone in the community with children in 6th grade and younger is invited to join us for carnival-type games with candy prizes rewarded for participation. A supper menu is available for purchase including hotdogs, apples, carrots, and cider, as well as other desserts. Several kid-friendly Gospel presentations will be performed throughout the evening.
Advent/ChristmasThe Children’s Christmas Eve Service at 4 pm on December 24 is called “Someone is Coming to Our House” and is a retelling of the Christmas Story from the animals point of view. The children will also lead us in several Christmas carols. Many of the children who attend here will be the actors and in the choir. They are being led this year by several of our Sunday School teachers and parent volunteers. The goal of this service is to provide a Christ centered beginning for each family's Christmas celebration. It is a great event to share with neighbors and extended family who may not be clear on why they are celebrating Christmas.
.Lent/EasterThe Children’s Good Friday Service is an opportunity for families to see a presentation of the events of Holy Week in a worship setting and to experience some of the incidents in the last week of Jesus life on earth through hands on activities. Children experience the Last Supper, nail their sins on a cross, and bake their own prayer pretzel to help them remember the most important week that ever was.
