To love God and people above all else

Imagine Building Renovation

We praise God for the completion of the building renovation and expansion project, celebrated at the dedication of the new facilities April 18, 2010.  The Imagine campaign was launched in November 2003 to fund the renovation and expansion of Cherrydale’s facilities to include enlarging the sanctuary, making it completely accessible to those with disabilities, and adding a central fellowship center and additional classrooms. God has worked through His people in amazing ways. By God’s grace $7.9 million of the total project budget of $9.6 million has been raised.

Reaching more people for Christ and discipling them to passionately love God and people is our primary motivation for expanding our facilities. By faith we move ahead, anticipating God’s power to sustain us and His providence to provide for us. Please pray for the remaining $1.6 million that is needed for the project so that we can move into the new building debt-free. If you would like to contribute to the Imagine project, know that your partnership in the gospel is much appreciated. Please pray for the remaining funds needed for the project budget. Financial updates are posted on the back of the bulletin each week.

We thank the Lord for the members of the Building Renovation Design Team (BRDT), who led this project to its completion: Wendell Brown, John DePauw, Barbara Ferrell (Chair), Denny Freemyer, Bob Glahn, Ralph James (Project Manager), Jim Koan, Kendall Lord, Tim McGhee, Tim Ott, and Jack Spitler.
