Small Groups

Cherrydale affirms the central role of biblical community in a believer’s spiritual formation in Christ (Ephesians 4:11-25; Hebrews 3:12-13). An important venue to pursue biblical community at Cherrydale is through participation in a small group.

The primary focus of Cherrydale’s Small Groups is supporting one another in our spiritual formation in Christ. Small Groups provide an excellent setting for spiritual formation because God intends for believers to grow spiritually in the context of a committed community that is working to apply the implications of the gospel in every area of their lives (Rom 8:28–29; Heb 3:12–13; Gal 6:1–5).

A deeper understanding of the gospel will cause believers to look outward. To that end, Cherrydale Small Groups also focus on planting new groups, pursuing outreach in communities and supporting global missions.

Cherrydale focuses on identifying groups for people as close as possible to where they live. This enables the Cherrydale family to live out their faith with other believers in their own communities, and to reach out to their community together. We currently have mixed groups as well as both men’s and women’s groups.
