Cherrydale Baptist Church [+] Spreading a passion to love God and people above all else

 

Following our Lord's command (Matthew 28:19-20), we baptize those who have trusted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Every quarter we hold baptisms during our three morning services. Prior to baptism, candidates need to meet with a pastor (accompanied by their parents in the case of children). Here, the significance and mode of baptism are explained, and handouts are used to assist in study and consideration of Scripture. There will also be time to discuss your personal testimony, procedures for the baptismal service and an opportunity for questions, answers and discussion. This class is a basic introduction to our church family. You will have an opportunity to learn from Pastor King about what it means to be a part of the Cherrydale family. You will hear first-hand all about what we believe, what our vision is, and how we believe God wants us to get there.

 

You will hear about the incredible things God is doing at Cherrydale, have the opportunity to ask lots of questions, and after all is said and done, you will have all the information you ned to determine whether Cherrydale should be your church home.

 

Our Newcomers Class will be offered the following Sundays from 2:30 - 5:30 pm in the Room 230.
