USHER MINISTRY

Our Usher Ministry is a great way for either men or women to serve the congregation. Due to attrition, there’s a significant need for more ushers in both the 9:15 and 11:00 services. If you are interested and would like more information, please contact Worship Pastor Kendall Lord (klord@cherrydale.org  or 703-525-8210).

 

Jr. High Ministry Team for Wednesday Nights (Student and Family Ministry)

Description:  We need an additional lady leader for our Junior High girls on Wednesday evenings. We meet 7-9. The main role of Wednesday night leaders is leading discussion and prayer when we divide into fixed small groups for a half hour to 40 minutes.  Email Pastor Greg if you are interested in finding out more godell@cherrydale.org

Host members for German Youth Group

Our Student Ministry will be partnering with a youth group from Germany July 3 – 7. We will be doing several activities with them and they will worship with us that Sunday before they leave. We need homes for them to stay in. They are coming with air mattresses and sleeping bags. Do you have a spare room or family room where our friends could camp out for a few days?
