Tom grew up in West Milford, NJ and came to faith in Christ when he was nine years old through the faithful ministry of his parents. Tom met his wife Nicole at Messiah College. In 2007, Nicole and Tom began attending Cherrydale while Tom completed a seminary degree at Capital Bible Seminary. They were married in 2008 and served for several years as members before Tom joined the pastoral staff in May 2012—with Tom being affirmed by the congregation as Lead Pastor beginning in September 2019. Tom and Nicole live in Falls Church with their kids Caleb, Ava, Lincoln, and Ezra.

Our kids are a great joy and a source of regular laughter in our home. Nicole and I love to read, drink coffee, travel, work in our yard together, and watch movies. Worshiping with our church family on Sunday mornings is the highlight of my week.

Mediterranean!

Fondest childhood memory:
For a long time, my family would spend Thanksgiving weekend working at my grandparent’s farm—filling their woodshed, clearing fence rows, et cetera. The highlight was coming home from church on Thanksgiving morning to the smell of dinner cooking in the oven. After feasting, we usually rolled ourselves into the living room to watch the movie Home Alone.

Favorite Scripture Verse, passage, or book of the Bible:
Favorite book: Hebrews. Favorite passage: Galatians 2:20
