"God's Great Pursuit"

Each spring the women at Cherrydale gather for a weekend of spiritual growth and fellowship. All women at Cherrydale are invited to join us at this year's conference being hosted at Cherrydale Baptist Church the evening of May 4th and all day May 5th. This year's theme is "God's Great Pursuit." Our keynote speaker, Christa Hayden-Director of Church Mobilization Northeast for International Justice Mission will be encouraging us to see that God has deeply pursued us so that we would then pursue others with what we have received from Christ. This perfect cyclical design that God has created means that we are not truly living out the life Christ designed for us until we give away what we have been given. There are places of great pain and darkness in the world where Jesus wants us to be his light. We can’t fall into the temptation of staying in places of comfort – God will do more than we ever asked or imagine through us if we submit all to him and then go out to be his light to others. Together we will explore practical next steps for becoming a church that seeks justice, and how individuals and the church can learn how to seek justice/combat injustice well. Don't miss this exciting message! We will also be hearing lessons and testimonies from other Cherrydale women as well as participating in interactive discussions, free-time activities, and prayer.
