This morning, I woke up greeting the dawn with praise to my Lord. Yesterday, I returned from 10 meaningful days of ministry in Cuba.
My first stop there was two hours southeast of Havana at a small place called Covadonga. You have to look closely at a map to find this town nestled in the midst of sugar cane plantations and cow pastures.
Three churches joined together to hear a Bible conference on marriage as designed by the Lord. Although the temperature was in the nineties with dense humidity, 80 believers would sit for hours on end listening and participating. There were 20 ceiling fans trying to keep the heavy air circulating.
It seems that the Lord is working to heal many broken marriages and He has provided biblical guidance to thorny issues regarding failures of the past. This country has one of the highest divorce rates in the world.
Recently lawmakers in Cuba have endorsed a draft of a new constitution that would allow for the legalization of same-sex marriages.
The Lord opened the way for many answered prayers because nothing was confiscated at the airport and finances were amply provided.
Once again, your faithful intercession has made all of this possible.
