Esdras came to us as a three year-old son of a single mom. He lived with us through his middle and high school years. In his secular high school the teachers asked Esdras to pray, because they knew that he had been trained to pray at home.
Early on, Esdras felt God’s hand on his life to give himself to ministry. As a graduate of both of our seminaries in Guatemala, Esdras learned how to be a servant leader. Along the way, he met and married a fellow student, Carolina, a beautiful lady from Ecuador who studied with Esdras and also prepared herself for ministry.
For three years they have served in southern Spain in the Andalusia province. Less than 1% of Spain’s 46.5 million are considered evangelical Christians.
Carolina is a secretary for a mission’s organization; Esdras works weekdays at a coffee house witnessing to mainly Arab students. On weekends they pastor a church with a Gypsy membership.
Esdras’s story is one of a partnership between you, his godly mother, and our love to see servant leaders being formed for His service around the world.
On behalf of Esdras, Carolina, and the many they will reach with the gospel, THANK YOU! Pray for them…
