On January 27, a severe Tornado hit Havana. Wind speeds reached more that 186 mph as the tornado travelled along a 7.1 mile path of destruction. The death toll has climbed to four and 200 people suffered injuries.
During its 16-minute rampage through eastern Havana neighborhoods, it carried vehicles aloft and slammed them into buildings, crumbled hundreds of homes and blasted out windows. A pastor friend commented: “The tornado went through the area of the city famous for its worship of the occult.” Pray for Cuba…
During the last part of March, I will going to the island for two Bible conferences. One with the theme: Panorama of the Bible, and the other: What Happens One Minute after Death. Pray for preparation and for the funds to cover my time in Cuba.
Ann has been ill for a number of weeks. Diagnosis is still a mystery. Pray for Ann. She has been weak, very tired and has low grade fever. My insomnia has come back. Some nights I can only sleep two to three hours. Pray for me. Our daughter, Teresa, is back to good health!
Sometime in mid-2019, Camino Global will merge with Avant ministries (formerly Gospel Missionary Union). This will enhance our ministry in Guatemala and Cuba.
