Since we last wrote, the presidential elections in Guatemala are history. Within an hour after the balloting was closed, the new president was announced. Throughout the country, the process was accomplished in an orderly fashion. Many feel that the new leadership will greatly benefit Guatemala.
Continue to pray for the completion of Ann’s doctoral dissertation. Hopefully, by the beginning of next year, this project will be accepted and the degree conferred.
On October 4, we will go for ministry to our favorite nation in the Caribbean. Ann will teach Principles of Bible Interpretation and Bob an aspect of Eschatology. Pray that the Holy Spirit will take our words and change lives.
Imagine living in a country where it’s very difficult to plan for life, where the basic salary is around $30 a month, where the government issues decrees to regulate everything from artistic expression to the number of tables and chairs that a restaurant can have, and where a person is fortunate to purchase toilet paper at the market.
Please pray for the finances for this venture.
