It is overwhelming to realize that among the 7.5 billion people who live in our world, 4.7 billion do not know Jesus. Two billion people have never even heard His name. All of this, in our “modern” world of mass communication!
With this in mind, this coming Friday, Oct. 4, we go to Cuba, one of the dark places to preach and teach the Word of God. Please pray:
- That we will be able to communicate through the power of the Holy Spirit.
- That our beloved Cuban friends will be receptive to our message. Ann will be teaching Principles of Bible Study and have counseling sessions with the ladies. Bob will teach an aspect of Eschatology as it relates to death, heaven and hell.
- Pray that we can adapt to climate, food, and a stringent daily schedule. Rationing of fuel and food is part of normal life.
Just recently our seminary, SETECA, celebrated 90 years of service for the Hispanic church. Presently there are 1,500 graduates in 30 countries serving the King of Kings. On Friday, Sept. 27, another graduating class received their marching orders. Pray for these graduates as they go forth to serve the Lord in many different countries.
On the home front, our children and grandkids are doing fine. Ann sprained her ankle a few days ago; we are hoping this will not hinder her ministry in Cuba.
We thank the Lord daily for every remembrance of you, our faithful prayer warriors.
