On Tuesday, May 26th, Governor Northam announced that Northern Virginia was clear to move to Phase 1 of the state’s reopening plan starting today. With that good news, Cherrydale will move forward with our plan to to regather starting June 7th for one worship service at 11 a.m. We will also continue to offer our livestream option. We are so looking forward to gathering with those who are able and ready to do so!

Registration Information

Per our safety guidelines, registration is required to attend the 11:00 am worship service in person on June 7th and in following weeks. Registration will be open from Sunday at 12:30 pm until Friday at 12:30 pm the week prior to the Sunday you wish to attend. We encourage everyone to register who wants to attend to help us assess the need for an additional service in future weeks.

You will register for one of three rooms based on your preference and the room availability: Worship Center, Gym, or Community Room. To register, click on the button below starting Sunday afternoon, or call (703) 712-0580 between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. You can also register on our COVID-19 Information Page.

Register for June 7th

Face Coverings Update

Per Governor Northam’s executive order this week and with input from medical professionals in our church family, we have adapted our safety guidelines to raise the age for when face coverings will be required to five years and older. We are grateful for your patience as we receive updated information and plans change. Our chief goal is your health and safety!

Neighbor Outreach

As part of our communication plan on reopening Cherrydale, we’re sending a letter to our physical neighbors in our neighborhood to explain our plans and invite them to join us. In the letter, we invite them to visit a special page on our website with a video message from Pastor Tom and further details. Please pray with us for our neighbors, that they would feel honored by the communication and that God would draw them to Himself!

For our church family, please pray that God will be glorified and at work in each of our hearts, whether you choose to gather with us in person or continue on the livestream for a season:

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen” (Eph. 3:20-21).
