Dear Cherrydale Family,
The Missions & Outreach Pastor Search Team had the privilege last week of interviewing three candidates via Zoom.
We spent over an hour with each gentleman to learn more about their experiences and theological views as well as to share more about Cherrydale’s culture and commitment to sharing Jesus locally and globally.
We praise God for their collective efforts to advance the Gospel and ask that you keep praying for:
- Our diligence to review their resumes, applications, supplementary materials (such as sermons), and interview notes to give a fair and thorough analysis against our original criteria
- Our discernment as to which candidates to forward to the elders for further review
- The Lord’s leading in future ministry for each candidate
Our team will next Monday, May 3 to discuss which candidates to forward to the elders for their review.
