Melissa Carey is a Bible study speaker, teacher, and leader in the Washington, DC area. She shares her love for Christ as a regular contributor to The Word on Wednesday blog. Her passion for storytelling led her to share the joy of Christmas with others through The Christmas Cabinet, an advent calendar that becomes a nativity scene which she created and has made available to families and churches. It weaves together prophecies of the Old Testament with stories of Jesus’ ministry and the message of salvation found only in Jesus Christ. Her website is www.thechristmascabinet.com.
