Apr. 11, 2025 Kindred Speakers: Colleen Glisson
Colleen is a mom of four children currently ages 8, 6, 3, and 1 and lives in Arlington. She homeschools her oldest, and is preparing to homeschool her 6-year-old next year as well (pray for her!).
She and her husband have served six years with the non-profit ministry called Apartment Life, hosting events and building friendships with their neighbors in apartment communities.
With the birth of their youngest, they moved out of apartment living and are recreating the community building experience in their current neighborhood. They host bi-weekly open dinners at their house for any neighbor or friend or friend of a friend who is free and wants to join for a meal and an informal discussion about biblical topics.
Colleen has a passion to connect people both with each other and with the God who loves them unconditionally. She loves creating chalkboard art, working out, and making new friends!
