Apr. 4, 2025 Kindred Speakers: Raynel Knight
Raynel Knight is a mother of four who lives in Lovettsville, VA, in Loudoun County. She homeschools her children, ages 13, 11, 8, and 6, and teaches writing and grammar at her local classical co-op. She and her husband are members of a three-year old church plant in Lovettsville, where her husband serves as deacon of music, and Raynel helps lead the welcome team and a ministry to young mothers, and disciples younger women in the church.
Raynel is wrapping up her biblical counseling certification through CCEF, the counseling education arm of Westminster Theological Seminary. She loves meeting friends for coffee, trying to grow flowers in her garden, reading novels, and playing in the creek and forest near their home.
Before moving to Lovettsville in 2019, Raynel and her family lived in Alexandria and attended Cherrydale Baptist Church for more than a decade, where she was an active and enthusiastic participant in Kindred. She loves Kindred, and was happy to be back for a visit!
