Cherrydale Fall Festival | Oct. 31st, 3:00-5:00 pm
Join us in the Cherrydale parking lot as we celebrate fall with our friends and family. All are welcome – feel free to invite friends, neighbors, and coworkers! So that we can plan accordingly for supplies and to ensure we are following Cherrydale’s safety guidelines, registration is required. For the safety of all those attending, social distancing and face coverings (for everyone five years and older) will be required.
Food, Games, and Costumes, Oh My!
FOOD: An ice cream truck will be there at some point fully-stocked with all sorts of frozen treats, so bring your wallets! We are also working on a food truck. We won’t be able to provide beverages, so please bring pre-filled water bottles or other beverages for your family.
CANDY: The festival is free of charge, but to offset costs, we are asking for donations of candy. Please bring your candy to the baskets in the Cherrydale Commons on Sunday mornings or inside Door #5 (8 am – 5 pm) by October 27th. For children with with allergies, Cherrydale will purchase allergy-safe candy.
GAMES and ACTIVITIES: Our line-up includes a scavenger hunt, a “grab” apple challenge, a petting zoo, a balloon artist, a visit by an Arlington County police officer, and lots of other fun activities!
COSTUME PARADE: Come in your best costumes (adults, too!), but please leave the witches and zombies at home! At 4:45 pm, we’ll have a costume parade to celebrate our time together.
GET INVOLVED: From game masters to greeters, we need your help to make this event a success! Please sign-up for a volunteer slot below. If you can’t volunteer on October 31st, please consider helping with preparations beforehand or donating candy.
