The King Has Died – Hebrews 2:9-11
Scripture
9 But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.

Description
The King has Died on behalf of his people. Jesus tasted the full measure of death so we merely experience a glancing blow. He tasted death for us so that we could close our eyes in death only to open them in God’s presence. Take heart, Jesus tasted death for us so that He could bring us safely home.
