A Message from Tom Oostdyk, Lead Pastor

About Cherrydale Baptist Church

Our mission is to make disciples who love God and people above all else. This mission is based on Jesus’ command to love God and people (Matthew 22:37-40) and to make disciples among all people (Matthew 28:18-20).

We are people from different backgrounds who have encountered Jesus Christ and are learning to live a new life for the glory of God. Perhaps you’re searching for some answers to life’s perplexing questions or maybe even looking for a church home. Whoever you are or whatever your situation, we invite you to get to know us and discover more about the life-changing love of God that is found in the good news of Jesus Christ.

Cherrdayle’s Reopening Plan

With Northern Virginia entering phase 1 of the state’s reopening plan on May 29th, Cherrydale is planning to reopen for a limited capacity worship service at 11:00 am starting June 7th. We will continue to offer a livestream of this service as well. This plan is in accordance with federal and state health guidelines and was developed in communication with Arlington County officials. Attendees will be required to register in advance, and face coverings will be required for everyone five years and older, except for those with a medical reason not to wear one. Our safety guidelines require six-feet of separation between individuals and households both inside and outside the facility.

Read our May 22 announcement of our reopening plan and our Safety Guidelines for Phase 1.

How to Participate

We invite you to participate, either in person or via livestream! Registration for attending the service will be available from Sunday at 12 pm through Friday 12 pm the week prior to the Sunday worship service you wish to attend. Visit our COVID-19 Information Page for registration information.

To participate via livestream, visit our website page: www.cherrydale.org/livestream where you can download information to follow along with the service or link to a separate platform that includes a chat function.
