Bob and Tannie have served in vocational ministry for over 35 years, including pastoral ministry at Calvary Bible Church in Lewistown, PA and with us here at Cherrydale Baptist Church. While on staff at Cherrydale, Bob served much of his time as our Missions Pastor, sending out and mentoring missionaries and leading missions trips. After Bob and Tannie partnered in efforts to train pastors in Ethiopia, God confirmed His calling for Bob and Tannie to pursue full-time ministry to reach people who have never heard of Christ.
In 2015, Bob and Tannie began full-time ministry with East-West Ministries International and moved to Addis Ababa, the capitol of Ethiopia. There are more than 30 unreached people groups in Ethiopia, including more than 20 million people. Bob and Tannie travel throughout the country to train pastors and other laborers, establishing them in theology and ministry skills to make disciples among unreached people groups. They also network with their son and daughter-in-law, fellow Cherrydale missionaries Rob and Almaz.
