Ways to Support Crisis Relief in Ukraine

What is Cherrydale doing to support the crisis in Ukraine? On March 7, the Missions Committee (MC) approved a gift of $15,000 to assist with refugee efforts in Eastern Europe where our missionary partners are serving. They have been meeting with refugees, praying with them, and providing basic needs. The MC gift will go to their organization for ongoing relief efforts there. In addition to continuing to pray for the people of Ukraine, here are monetary ways you can help:

  • Support our missionaries in Eastern Europe who are working with Ukranian refugees. Checks can be made to “SIM USA” and mailed to 14830 Choate Circle, Charlotte, NC 28273 with note “Gilliam Support – Acct. #021567- Ukrainian Refugee Work.”
  • Send a gift to Samaritan’s Purse, who have set up an emergency hospital inside the border of Ukraine.
  • Send a gift to World Relief, who are actively working with partners/churches in Western Ukraine and providing immediate humanitarian assistance. They are also working in the region among bordering countries to engage with partners and churches in these areas to provide food, shelter, and supplies.
