Wanted-room/private bath in a Christian Home – Will pay up to $900 mo. rent.
I am a retired Christian woman and would like to live in the home of a Christian family for the following reasons:
First, I would like to pray for their spiritual and physical wellbeing and second, my hope is to help the family in any way they desire: It could be by helping a busy mother with her children—especially before or after school care, assisting a family member who is not well, easing the burden of a working mother and giving her some free time, light housework, and being ready to respond to the ever changing needs of a family. My expectation is that ours would become a fruitful friendship and be a blessing both to your family and me. Interested? Let’s talk about it. I am available to begin this arrangement whenever it is convenient for you. Also, I use public transportation, do not smoke and will gladly provide references.

Seeking a Wonderful Roommate for my Cozy Townhouse in Alexandria
Location: The location is right off the Van Dorn Street exit for 495. Easy access to 495/395/295/95. The Van Dorn Metro is about 5 minutes away by car, and a bus stop to the Van Dorn metro station is a 5 minute walk from the townhouse. Ample amount of parking and permits are not required. Near Kingstowne Shopping Center, Springfield Towne Center.
Rent: $725/month plus utilities ($120/month)
The townhouse has three floors, two full bath and two half baths, a large living room, dining room, kitchen, and a devotion room for praying/praising. You would share a bathroom with one other girl. Freshly painted the room a calm bluish gray. Kitchen is fully stocked with any kitchen gadget you could imagine and a brand new microwave/convection oven, fridge, and dishwasher. Large backyard deck that faces the woods has a gas grill, perfect for entertaining. We also have a devotion room with lots of Christian books and prayer request board. Lots of storage in the basement.
Friends are always welcome to stay. Alcohol is okay but not smoking. The vibe of the house is definitely communal – we share chores and eat meals together on occasion.
