Dave Y. grew up in Fairfax, VA in an extremely loving and devoted family, and with lots of friendships full of laughter, adventure, and fun. Dave got saved in 2001 after an encounter with a follower of Christ — making Jesus irresistible to him. He holds a Master of Divinity from Southern Seminary.
He and his wife Jess spend their lives together enjoying God, serving their church, and supporting missions. God is the great love of their lives; He’s everything to them. Next to being saved, Jess is the best thing that ever happened to Dave.
His top passions are the Bible, discipleship, church, missions, and thinking. He also likes business, technology, strategy, surfing, snowboarding, art, music, coming-of-age movies, and all things 80s. Dave constantly strives to align his life to his vision: “to live in spiritual candyland, on freedom lane, running God’s discipleship factory, with my family and friends, with an occasional break for some good vibrations.”
