Who We Are
Ministry Information
Rooted in the call of James 1:27, Cherrydale’s Orphan and Foster Care Ministry strives to reflect God’s compassion for vulnerable children. We desire to raise awareness, strengthen foster and adoptive families within our church, and connect our congregation with local service opportunities. Our vision is to empower believers to share the hope of Jesus Christ by meeting the tangible and emotional needs of these children, both locally and around the world.
If you’re exploring adoption or foster care and want to connect with someone who has personal experience, email us at [email protected].
Local Partners
Our ministry collaborates with Project Belong and Foster the Family, two local Christian organizations with a shared mission to support adoptive and foster families, equip churches in this vital work, and advocate for vulnerable children. Through these partnerships, we hope to provide meaningful ways to serve families and youth in our community.
Make a Gift
Our ministry seeks to encourage and support adoptive and foster families within our church body. While we do not have a dedicated budget through the church, we use donated funds for care packages, immediate placement needs, and gifts of encouragement (and maybe trainings in the future) for church members. If you would like to make a tax-deductible gift, visit our giving page.

We recognize the unique needs of adoptive and foster families, and we desire to support those needs through our virtual support group.
