Dennis Dillie is third generation Cherrydale. He received Christ on a Sunday evening in the fall of 1960 under Pastor Jackson. Although he was born in Arlington, he grew up in Florida, but then returned to Northern Virginia in 1968. He attended Benjamin Franklin University, located in downtown Washington, D.C. Dennis and Adele were married at Cherrydale in 1984 with Pastor King presiding.
Dennis retired in August of 2010 after working 30 years for Booz|Allen|Hamilton as a Financial Analyst. He continues working as a tax preparer and business consultant. Dennis served as Treasurer for Cherrydale in the early 1980s, and has returned to serve in this position for the past fourteen years. He has also served as eighth grade boy’s Sunday School Teacher.
