Renee and I are on our way to visit two missionary teams in the Middle East. One leader has recently been under public attack. Another is grieving the loss of a six-year-old son to heart disease. Please pray this passage for us: 1 Thessalonians 5:12-14 (MSG) “And now, friends, we ask you to honor those leaders who work so hard for you…. Overwhelm them with appreciation and love! ….Gently encourage [those who are struggling], and reach out for the exhausted, pulling them to their feet. Be patient with each person, attentive to individual needs.”
Prayer Update: My last trip was exhausting but deeply encouraging.I saw rising faith, deep love, and inspiring innovation. I saw veterans and newbies, nationals and expats loving one another well. And from 2 Timothy 3:16-17, the Lord gave me specific passages to continue praying into the lives of several of these young, emerging leaders.
