Dear Cherrydale Family,
Over the past two weeks, the Associate Pastor for Teaching and Shepherding Search Committee has continued to meet to evaluate the two internal applications we received.
After reading both candidates’ responses, spending time together in prayer, and discussing the applications, we voted to invite both internal candidates to an in-person interview. We will conduct these interviews in the coming weeks and then determine if the candidates should be passed along to the elders for consideration.
Please join us in praying this week:
- For these two candidates who we will interview – that they would feel the Holy Spirit’s call on their lives, and that they would feel calm and prepared for the interviews.
- For the Search Committee as we conduct these interviews and seek God’s will and wisdom for the future of our church.
- For the Gibert family as they settle into their new home in Houston.
- For our church family during this time of transition.
